Washington St., Alaska, British Columbia and the Yukon

This was a working vacation for me.  I was assigned a liquor store in Skagway, Alaska to install a point of sale system in.  ReJeana burned a week of vacation because like me, she had never been to Alaska.  The down side of this trip was that it was winter there.  Because this was the off tourist season and it was a last minute deal, choices in travel were limited.  Getting there was the pain.  It was a three day install scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday, but it took 3 days to get there.  We left Saturday flying from Tyler to Seattle, Washington via Dallas.  Then we had a 24 hour layover there, so we rented a car and drove to Mount Saint Helen's National Park.  That evening we departed for Juno, Alaska spending the night there.  The next morning we took an Alaska Marine Highway from Juno to Skagway.

I had to work from 11am-7pm Tuesday through Thursday, so we used the mornings to venture out.  Friday I had the day off so we drove to White Horse, Yukon.  Saturday we flew home, the first leg on a 6 passenger puddle jumper from Skagway to Juno.
