This page is dedicated to my cousin, Mary Franklin Deason Dunn and to my late aunt, Veda Mae Deason Anderson. 

Mary Frank has done much to promote our family heritage by her contributions to various historical and genealogical societies.  She is the author of numerous books, just to mention a few:

When ever I asked my mother a question about family history, if she did not know the answer, she would say, "I'll bet Mary Frank knows".  Her transcriptions of this cemetery set the ground work for this project. 

My Aunt Veda Mae got me started in genealogy over 20 years ago and is responsible for my obsession, even thought I have spells of laziness from time to time.

I originally stated photographing this cemetery in 2002.  I got about half way through it and then got side tracked.  I picked it up again in 2005 finishing it when other distractions came along.  Recently I purchased a domain name through YAHOO to post some family pictures and then the idea hit me to put this up.  I originally had the data in an Excel spread sheet and I am too lazy (or dumb) to figure out a cleaner format to present the data in without having to re-key it.  When I update the data later in the year I'll come up with a more user friendly interface.

The photographs contained within are reduced in size to 410 x 307 (about 50-60k) to allow me to post them economically.  The originals are 1.4mb in size with a resolution of 2048 x 1536.  If you wish a high resolution copy of any of the pictures here, email me with the names at  jim_paulk@cox-internet.com

Instructions on how to use this page

At the index, click on the letter that corresponds to the last name of the person you are looking for.  If you are looking for "Deason's", click on the "D".  To go back to the the index at the top of the page, click on the link that says "Index".  When you find the individual you are looking for chick on their last name.  If it is underlined, a picture will pop up of that persons headstone.  If the first name or the dates are highlighted, it means there is more than one picture to views.  If the person's name is not highlighted, it means I could not find their marker or the marker is no longer there.

You'll notice that under the "location" column I have a letter and a number.  This corresponds to the location and row that the grave was found.  The cemetery is divided into three sections.  North, Central or Center, and South, which are divided by lanes.  Standing on the street and looking toward the cemetery you are facing west.  Looking from left to right you will see the North Section, the Center Section is in the middle and the South Section is to your right.  The number corresponds to how many rows away from the road the grave is located.  For example, Renie Adams, the first name shown has a location of "C-14".  This means her grave is located in the "Center Section", 14 rows back from the road.
