RIVER OAKS -- Edith Viola Calahan, 83, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2004.
   Graveside service: 2 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
   Edith was born June 12, 1920, in Roaring Springs.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, William Knox Calahan Jr.
   Survivors: Son, Richard Calahan; daughter, Karen Rutledge and husband, Ron; grandchildren, Heather Walker and Matthew Evans; great-grandchildren, Haley Nicole and Matthew Colby, all of Fort Worth; sisters, Velma Pruitt of LaFeria and Alma Bevers of Kingsland; niece, Rebecca Thibodeaux; great-niece, Nancy Winslow of Mercedes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
